What is BTA?
A standing invitation to
take up space.
We started with brunch — fifty women, a buffet, a microphone, and a giant dandelion to wish on. But Be the Author is bigger than a Sunday. It's a community for women who are done playing the supporting role: rewriting the script, growing in hard soil, and blooming anyway. Soft and strong, in the same breath.
The Manifesto
Not the side note. Not the supporting cast. The author. The main character. The one who stands in their truth.
Be the author.

The 11:11 Ritual
When you catch the clock at 11:11, try this.
A little ritual you can do anywhere — nothing required. Three breaths, three steps, sixty seconds for yourself.
i.
Think it
When you notice the time, stop and take a breath. Picture the one thing you want most right now.
ii.
Wish it
Say it to yourself like it's already true — no hedging, no apologizing. Just for a moment, let it be yours.
iii.
Let it go
Release it like a dandelion seed on the wind. Trust it to land where it's meant to, then carry on with your day.
